                     THE ABANDONED DOG ARCHY

(dedicated to my beautiful and loyal dog Archy)

One day there was a little black smiley dog named Archy. He was so lonely and abandoned. He was in the streets all the time. His life was sad but he was always positive and believed that someone would take him as a pet. He had his best friend named Jethro. Jethro worked in a bakery. Archy would usually come to Jethro because Archy loved him and Jethro loved Archy. Jethro would always give him something to eat and drink so Archy was never hungry or thirsty. They also played a lot.

The time was passing by. But one day a van parked behind Jethro's bakery and by the time Jethro realized what kind of a van it was, Archy was gone.He ran out onto the street and saw men taking Archy into the big white van. Both Archy and Jethro were desperate but… When the men closed the door of the van, Jethro noticed a sign Animal Shelter . Archy and Jethro thought that they would never see each other again. Jethro tried to find Archy. He searched the whole town but there was no trace of him. Jethro and Archy knew that one day they would meet again because they loved each other and they would never forget one another.

And another day passed by, Jethro finally found a location of the animal shelter. He went there. He was looking for Archy and he wasn't there but when Jethro looked at the last cage he saw Archy and when Archy saw Jethro he was over the moon and only one thought came to his mind:'' Wow, I've  thought he had forgotten me, I'm a lucky dog and I'm not homeless any more.'' Jethro immediately opened the cage and took him home. They were happy again. They stayed inseparable because love changes a man just like a prison does. Archy always keeps that in mind because if someone is not with you, it doesn't mean that that person doesn't love you.
